Litter Information

ABOUT OUR LITTERS

  • All of our litters are whelped indoors and monitored carefully for the first several weeks of life. Once they are old enough to regulate their body temperatures, they begin adventuring outdoors in safe areas. Between 6-8 weeks of age, depending on weather and other conditions, they begin introductions to puppy safe livestock. At 8 weeks of age they begin living with livestock full time under the supervision of their dam or our other adult Anatolians.

  • I do not send puppies home before 10 weeks of age unless there are specific overriding circumstances. Pick up is generally scheduled between 10-12 weeks.

  • Our puppies are raised with ENS, Puppy Culture and AviDog protocols, and are temperament tested around 8 weeks of age.

  • Currently all of our puppies are $3000, regardless of sex or color. We do not take deposits for our waitlist, but an application must be returned to us in order to join our waitlist. Our application can be accessed here.

  • The majority of our puppies who are not going as show prospects will go on non-breeding spay/neuter contracts. Occasionally there are exceptions, but we work to promote getting working dogs out into the show ring as well prior to breeding to maintain accurate representation of the breed at shows.

  • Interested owners do not pick out their puppies, and therefore we do not do “pick” reserves. We place puppies based on a variety of factors and information, including show conformation, temperament, health factors, genetic COI, and prospective homes’ needs.
