We breed Anatolian Shepherds with the aim to maintain long, successful working lives. We use health testing to shape our breeding decisions and maintain the overall health and genetic diversity of Anatolian Shepherds. Although not all disease can be prevented, we do our best to breed healthy dogs with correct temperament and structure.

An Ancient Guardian Breed

Anatolian Shepherds are a breed that dates back several thousand years to the Central Anatolia mountains where they were utilized by Turkish Shepherds as flock guardians. Today, we still use these dogs as guardians to protect our livestock from local predators.
